Welcome to the applications and services provided by Dora.net LLC (hereinafter referred to as "the Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using any of our mobile applications (including FlightCheck and others), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
1. AVIATION SAFETY & LIABILITY DISCLAIMER (CRITICAL)
Not a Primary Navigation or Safety Tool: Our applications are designed as supplemental digital aids for pilots and aviation enthusiasts. They are NOT a replacement for the official Pilot Operating Handbook (POH), FAA/EASA-approved checklists, or other official aeronautical documentation.
Pilot in Command (PIC) Responsibility: The Pilot in Command is solely responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft. Any checklists or data provided by the app, including those generated by AI or shared by the community, must be verified against official sources before use.
No Warranty for Community Content: We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or safety of checklists shared by the "Community" or other users. Use of community-generated data is strictly at your own risk.
2. AI SCANNING & DATA ACCURACY
Experimental Feature: Our AI scanning feature (powered by third-party models) is an automation aid. It may misinterpret text, columns, or values from physical documents.
Verification Required: Users must manually review and confirm every item converted by the AI scanner before saving it to their "My Checklists".
3. SUBSCRIPTIONS & PAYMENTS
In-App Purchases: Premium features are offered as a subscription-based service.
Billing: Payments will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Management: You can manage or cancel your subscriptions at any time via your App Store Account Settings.
4. DATA & PRIVACY
CloudKit Sync: Your data is synced using Apple’s CloudKit services. While we strive to ensure data integrity, we are not liable for data loss due to sync errors or service outages.
Privacy Policy: Use of our apps is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which details how we collect and handle your information.
5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dora.net LLC and its developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the application, including but not limited to aircraft incidents, hardware failure, or data loss.
